Hotel Ottaviano Augusto

Definitely recommend it. Great hotel with a very good location, away from the main road avoiding noise and yet just 10m walk to the Ottaviano and Cipro Metro station and Vatican. There is a beautiful church right next to the hotel entrance and a bakery nearby making some delightful bread. The rooms are clean and cosy, with a high ceiling which in combination with very little noise from outside gave a feeling of peace - allowed me some great sleep. Good bed and shower, an amazing breakfast, buffet-offering a wide variety of savoury and sweet. Very kind, polite staff speaking good English, which I am personally grateful for. I had a lovely stay! I’m choosing it again next time

I have already stayed there three times and it will remain my choice again on future trips. It is ideally situated for visiting the many sights in Rome. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk (all of them during my stay), they even go out of their way to guide you through the places to visit in Rome. Continental breakfast is very good in my opinion (bacon, scambles eggs, bread/toast, cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, ham, cheese,....). Wifi was great…. in short I was content with everything and i definitely recommend it.

Very close,withing walking distance, to Vatican city. Took us maybe 5-10 minute walk to get to St Peter's Square. Walk to Trevi, coliseum, Spanish steps etc about 40 min.

The breakfast was versatile and started each of my days perfectly. The staff was simply amazing, especially the front desk was very welcoming each time you saw them. The location is excellent to the Vatican and also close to public transport access, which made exploring the other parts of the city easy as well. I felt very safe in this area, seemed like a peaceful area preferred also by the locals. The room was spacious, clean and cool thanks to the effective air conditioning even in the August heat. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for warm hospitality and great quality-price ratio!

Wonderful hotel!!! Good location (10 minutes walk to the Vatican walls) 20 minutes by metro to Termini. Clean room, clean hotel, good breakfast! As you leave the hotel, the first attraction awaits you!!! A beautiful Catholic church!There are many good cafes and pizzerias nearby.10 minutes walk to the metro and supermarket. P.S There is an incredible rooftop terrace with views of St. Peter's Basilica. We spent every evening there (there are tables and chairs) It was awesome drinking wine with that view!!!
