Hotel Ottaviano Augusto

Definitely recommend it. Great hotel with a very good location, away from the main road avoiding noise and yet just 10m walk to the Ottaviano and Cipro Metro station and Vatican. There is a beautiful church right next to the hotel entrance and a bakery nearby making some delightful bread. The rooms are clean and cosy, with a high ceiling which in combination with very little noise from outside gave a feeling of peace - allowed me some great sleep. Good bed and shower, an amazing breakfast, buffet-offering a wide variety of savoury and sweet. Very kind, polite staff speaking good English, which I am personally grateful for. I had a lovely stay! I’m choosing it again next time

I have already stayed there three times and it will remain my choice again on future trips. It is ideally situated for visiting the many sights in Rome. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk (all of them during my stay), they even go out of their way to guide you through the places to visit in Rome. Continental breakfast is very good in my opinion (bacon, scambles eggs, bread/toast, cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, ham, cheese,....). Wifi was great…. in short I was content with everything and i definitely recommend it.

Very close,withing walking distance, to Vatican city. Took us maybe 5-10 minute walk to get to St Peter's Square. Walk to Trevi, coliseum, Spanish steps etc about 40 min.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The room was clean, spacious and offering all the amenities I could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is also ideal—conveniently situated near major attractions (vatican city), yet quiet enough to offer a peaceful retreat. Breakfast were fantastic, with a wide variety of dishes to suit every palate.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. The room was clean and smelled nice. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt good. The location is also great. It’s close to The Vatican and it’s easy to get to the other attractions from there. You may consider leaving earlier as buses may delay. The staff were very friendly and kind. Marco at the reception was very warm and welcoming the night I arrived. My battery was low and he helped sort out charging for me. The kitchen staff are great too, always having a smile for guests. Breakfast was always nice. I had dinner once and it was great. i enjoyed every bit of my stay here and would recommend.
